Carol Lofquist

Carol Lofquist is the owner of TLC Dog Training and a Professional Dog Trainer with more than 24 years of experience. Carol is known for her “positive” training methods and solving canine behavior problems.

Her passion is for the rescue dog and her mission is to prevent any dog from being returned to the shelter because their behavior was not acceptable. Carol loves to work with the “tough cases” and has many success stories that we will share here in the future.

Carol found her passion to work with dogs after listening to a radio interview of an Animal Psychologist from UW Madison. This Behaviorist became Carol’s mentor, encouraging Carol to study Animal Behavior, which she continues to do today.

Carol’s passion for dogs is strong. She has trained over 8,000 dogs and worked with 257 breeds! Carol’s experience is invaluable and the reason that Northwoods families call on her to train new puppies and to understand their new rescue.
